Knowing where my wines are was one of the features I missed most in some apps, and in others the methods were too limited. The way to assign a location to wines must also be simple and part of the process.

First, you simply add a location. Go to "Cellar" in the menu and choose "+ Add Location".

Location Name:

  • Give your location a logical name, for example Wine Rack (Wine Rack 1, Wine Rack 2, ...), Refrigerator, Box 1, ...

Storage Type:

  • Grid rack - specify the number of rows and columns
  • Diamond rack - specify the number of rows and columns
  • Case/Box 12 - a box with 12 compartments
  • Case/Box 6 - a box with 6 compartments
  • Free shelf/bin - no structure, just a place to set them down (for example a refrigerator without a wine rack)

When you now scan a new wine label, you can assign a location to it in that same process. This location is then visible on the wine map, so you always know where it is.
